Environmental Drilling
Environmental drilling is critical for determining if contamination has occurred in the soil or groundwater. It is required for investigation and cleanup of contaminated sites.
Geotechnical drilling is a site investigation technique designed to uncover the physical properties surrounding a construction site. It involves evaluating the soil, rock, groundwater, and overall conditions within a given depth and location.
Direct push machines push tools and sensors into the ground without the use of drilling to remove soil to make a path for the tool. A direct push machine relies on a relatively small amount of static (vehicle) weight combined with percussion as the energy for advancement of a tool string.
Sonic drilling is a drilling technique that incorporates the use of high frequency vibrations to facilitate the drilling process. Sonic drills can penetrate very quickly and cope with a wide variety of substrates and formations.
With mud rotary drilling, we can use mud to stabilize the borehole, prevent collapses, and smoothly penetrate rocky terrain. As a bonus, mud rotary can also reduce the drill pressure, wear, and fatigue at great depths, reducing the wear and tear on costly drilling equipment.
It is important to know the locations of any underground utility locations before beginning any invasive site work. An air knife is a safe, non-destructive excavation tool. When used properly, this tool prevents significant excavation of the ground and avoids the risk of damaging buried lines.

All M R Drilling employees are EPA HAZWOPER, LPS, API and RAPIDGATE trained and certified.
